And it is the law, and yes i agree, i hate someone telling me i have to have this insurance, or i have to do this or that, just as much as anyone, but then i think, you know what it would suck if insurance was not required, and i was driving down the road and got t boned in my porsche by someone without insurance, and you are pretty much up **** creek without a paddle. Maybe you could sue him to fix your car, but you know with our legal system that would take months, plus if say it was only 1800 worth of damage (the ceiling for small claims court in KS), and you took him to court and won, he still really doesn't have to pay, you would spend another couple months in court just trying to get money out of him....so insurance being required in my opinion is a good thing. And yea, people do drive without insurance, but at least when it is required, that number is low.

Yup, I agree. The scenario you describe is in the category of "catastrophic coverage" ;-)

I don't love insurance, but agree that it is needed, and I'm ok with it being the law - it's better for all of us.

I also got an OEM sekurit glass from safelite, but mine was only $220 with antennae built in too.
