Question Heater clip install??

Hello, I just recirved my heater clip from Paragon. I am going to install it. How should the panel be set up? I would guess that the temp slider be set full cold and the flapper (under dash) be pulled closed.
Is this correct. I did a search but came up with nothing.....
Thanks.

It doesn't really matter how things are set when you do it. Just remove the old plastic piece, stick the new one in, and where the rod is "grooved", slide it into the plastic clip. There's very little margin of error between the width of the clip and the grooved rod. Then snap the black metal clip over the plastic end. Things will line up correctly based on doing all that. No trick to it at all.
