Cool Uh, oh!

THAT is the car my boyfriend wants! They are such a PITA to maintain, too!

You have to yank that motor out, and toss in a V8 to get any real power.

So, I have to show this to him. If the car is still operational, it's a good deal.

A good running DeLorean will get you $12K - $30K out here.

That is moronic.

I really do like the normal D's though. They were ultra-luxury inside. Leather, too many speakers to count.

Do need the V8 conversion though

that car has been on the auction circut for a while now. Saw a two auction analysis recently in SCM.

Julie if you think you have to spend 30k for a delorean i have a few bridges for you. 12k is about all the money for the best.

Could you add similar time circuits to a 944? Think about it, if you ever broke your timing belt, you could push the car up to 88 mph, go back in time, and change the belt before it broke.

Wow - I didn't get much sleep last night.

I would love to buy the car except for one issue.

No Mr. Fusion, No Deal.

Then again maybe this is where the two fuel rods missing from the power plant in Vermont actually ended up.

Hmmm......

Oh yeah I forgot something, it's not really a DeLorean, it's a stainless steel Coke machine.

Pretty cool show car i would guess. The thing i loved about the one in the movie was how when MJF would downshift, they cut to the shot of the front of the car kinda bucking upwards from the increased acceleration with that distinct whine from the engine. I cant even explain the sound..but i always thought it was pretty cool .

I'd rather just rent the movie!
Imagine driving around in that thing? Geez.

Now, a real Batmobile...THAT would be cool!

Original - you are looking at 6K to make a 3 rotor engine run (engine + management) if it is a turbo!

Julie - maybe I need to start selling cars in Cali, you can pick up a Delorean in Texas for 12K easy, 15 would get you a damn near perfect one. They have a few fatal flaws, among them is one of the worst cooling systems you have ever seen, almost impossible to make them run cool enough with stock components.

Neat cars though, great idea, slow as hell, I mean REALLY REALLY SLOW.
