Default Steering wheel alignment

I need to adjust the tie rods to bring my steering wheel back to the right about 10 degrees.

Anyone know if I shorten the left and lengthen the right or visa-versa? Is there a way to tell if the wheels are perfectly aligned w/the steering wheel w/o driving down the street?

This is a 944 turbo race car so street driving is not a good idea. It has a removable steering wheel with a six sided mount so I can't just remove and align on other splines.

Thanks.
