Default Oxygen sensor location?

I replaced my O2 sensor about 3 months ago but I just bought an Autometer air/fuel guage and need to know where to plug it into. What are my options? I know that the best from what I have kind of heard before was at the sensor but there anyway to get to the sensor or the wires on top of the car (not having to jack the car up and crawl under there)?? I hated replacing mine because of jacking my car up and having to just get under there. Where does that sensor connect to? Can I locate that and plug into? I plan on doing this maybe tonight, so any help would be great!!

You need to splice into the wires of the oxygen sensor. (I think you knew that) Do you have a 2,3,or 4 wire O2 SENSOR?

I found where it connects on top, but where is a good place to get that wire into the car? Though the engine comp. to the interior?
A 3 wire system is in my car.

The O2 sensor connects to the wiring harness at the rear of the engine - follow the wires up. Connect there and go in through the existing holes either near the battery or the fuse panel. Draw your 12VDC from fused/switched extra power in relay/fuse panel. Ground is best taken direct from battery.

FYI, you should have a look through the archives regarding the relative effectiveness of a standard gauge with a 3-wire/4-wire sensor. Basically, it's a gadget that looks neat and would warn you if you had a completely malfunctioning sensors, but is really not accurate enough to tune by or realistically rely on.

If you're looking for real tuning and datalogging, try this out: www.tuneyourengine.com

Good Luck!
