First hand-wash of the season!
Ah...77 degrees and perfect for car washing. Got my Sonax car shampoo, P21S drying towel, and a nice lambswool mit, and went to town.
Very satisfying to come out with a shiny clean car.
Sure is tiring though...getting old I guess! Anyone else hitting the suds (soap, that is)?

Wow, todays the day I guess.
I did mine too. But my paint is fried. The previous owner spent $500
on raw materials to repaint the car, and then asked his uncle to paint
it...needless to say, they maybe shouldn't have painted it in the alley
behind the house...it's pretty bad.
I spent 3 hours with the buffer and some cutting polish. Washed it
once before the polish, once after, and then once again after I took
care of the windows and trim.
She looks better, but the more I work on her, the more flaws I find.
I'm not sure my old 924S is worth the effort of a repaint...at least not if
I'm keeping her stock. If I can ever find a shop or person in the
Chicagoland area that can drop a 951 motor in my 924S, then I'd be
willing to do some serious body work!

Today was the day for the first really good wash. My daughter and I did a lap of Ontario, well not quite all of it, and the car was filthy when we got back. The weather was great and I really enjoyed sudsing the thing over. Tomorrow if the weather holds the carnuba is coming out.
