KuHL 951

Is anyone familiar with an 86 951 special model (option code 426) called a "World Champion 1976-1978"? All I know it's a dark silver metallic with tan leather sport seats and Fuchs? Was there anything else "standard" on this model such as
M-30 suspension? There must be another one somewhere on this list I hope.

Never heard of it, but '426' also comes up as rear wiper delete -- which is obviously pretty common... Do you have the original sticker for the car or something?

426 on the 944 series is most certainly the rear wiper delete. 426 on the 924 was the Martini edition - paying homage to the championship 935 and 936 cars of Martini Rossi.

The 924 connection sounds right. I thought something seemed wrong. I got the first option code number off the owner from the hatch tag. Both sites below are the same. Clarks list shows 426 as a "special model" also. Somewhere else it had both the rear wiper delete and the special. Haven't seen the car yet and he had trouble reading it in the dark. The special model option must have been a Euro thing for the 924 and the 944 got the wiper delete. I'll know more when I see it, but I'm 100% sure it has no rear wiper...maybe special model means "Leak Free".
