Default Changed exterior handle seals and central lock arms

All in all, not nearly as bad a repair as I expected. And my power locks actually work now.

Many Happy Miles

Good work! The only pain (at least in my experience) is that late cars pretty much require removal of glass, regulator and rear channel to get best access to get handle off. Did you clean and regrease the inner door latch mechanism while you were in there?

Didn't have to do any of that. To change the lock arm, I removed the door card, peeled back the splash shield and unbolted the power lock mechanism. For the handle seals, there's a single machine screw just under the belt line, in the door jamb, that allows the handle to be pulled out from front of door - enough to wiggle old seals off and put new ones on.

As for grease, nope. Didn't feel like it needed any of that.
