Oh for Pete's sake guys!! Listen to yourselves!! Yes, we all know it doesn't turn like a Porsche... it's not meant to

It's a DRAGrace-car... ok?? If you guys can't see the shear power of this thing and respect it, drive something with a 1/3 of this power and hold down the throttle for a few gears... it's more excitement in a straight line then you could have imagined, LOL
Chris, thanx for sharing [right-click, save as...]

Hmm... I wonder if he would trade for a beat up 86 944 NA?

Lol.

To answer an earlier question. In this particular setup, both turbo's would spool at the same time. I think you are thinking of sequential turbo's, which still spool at the same time (I believe), but are one after the other, to get higher boost, with less lag (or something like that).

Most twin-bank, twin-turbo setups do this setup (one per bank) because you can put a smaller turbo on due to 1/2 the displacement... orrr you can do a sequential setup with two varyingly sized turbos charging all 8 cylinders. This reduced lag as the smaller turbo simply spools the larger one. I like the turbo/cyl.-bank idea myself for ease of tuning... but the sequential setups are really neat and apply to our 4-bangers

i think it has twins cause its an outlaw car......the turbo cars usually have weight penalties and have to run single for pro and the other series. well for nmra anyway.

There are at least two ways to setup twin turbos

Balanced - both of them are the same size let each one handle half the engine.

Staged - one small one, one big one. The small one kicks in low and gets the engine up to where the big one kicks in.

The 300ZX has balanced turbos, the Supra has them staged.

Oh wow. Now I've done it. My roommate thinks I'm a certifiable lunatic.

And all I did was look at those pictures and drool for five minutes or so, muttering "look at those hairdryers... did you see those hairdryers".

He doesn't understand.

More pictures here: http://hpracingokc.com/67MustangFast...ngFastback.htm

Must. Contain. Myself. Not. Drool.
