Default 924S Advice on originality

Hello guys

Ive recently aquired a very nice 1986 924S. Its in great condition, been meticulously maintained by Porsche dealerships and specialists only. I also happen to live on the same street as a Porsche Classic dealership.
Im very happy with it, drives well and engine is smooth and its got a lot of low down torque and revs out nicely with no smoke. I also opted for a non A/C model since the last classic car I had the A/C system gave me endless issues and i never used it so i wanted to avoid that this time.
Cambelt service with roller/tensioners as well as brake, plugs, oil were all recently done.

Id been using these forums a lot to search for stuff and learn about the car before i bought it so I think ive got a good example and I just want to keep it original with the only areas of improvement im looking towards is reliabilty and reducing the effects of ageing and corrosion.
At some point id like to get the car certified by Porsche as a classic (they have a list of stuff that the car needs to fufill before they would consider listing it as a classic porsche at the dealership...not that i plan to sell it anytime soon but id like to meet or exceed their standards).

Just wanted to get some opinions on stuff, like odd things that maybe a new 924S owner wouldnt expect or arent obvious. Maybe also areas of improvement that maybe dont affect the originality much ?
Also theres some things maybe just to confirm even though I searched and found answers:

-I have a power steering model. The steering is heavy, which i believe is normal but i have no reference point. Theres no funny noises or leaks so i suppose its good ?
-Im not tall, im 5'7 but the driving position is kinda awkward, my legs hit the steering when i press the clutch sometimes, if i sit too far back i cant press the clutch all the way, apparently guys over 6ft manage to drive these fine, what am i doing wrong with my seating position ?
-The seatbelt warning light and park brake warning lights are kinda finnicky, seems to just be contacts or switches, or is there another potential cause ?
-My transmission has been completely restored, it feels good, you cant exactly rush the shifts like a modern car (theres some resistance if you do) but it seems good enough. Maybe the gates feel rubbery rather than notchy, not sure what its supposed to feel like if it were straight out of the factory from Porsche. Overall it feels fine i suppose.
-I love the teledial wheels, but they came with really crappy tyres, whats a good tyre to use for these cars ?

Would appreciate any advice really

Rubbery as in it's hard to find a gear is usually worn linkages.

Rubbery as in you can't rush it is usually worn sychros.

You could remove the power steering belt and see what kind of difference it makes to the heavy steering. If none then something isn't working.

Ah okay, Ill see if i can test the power steering like that.

Gearbox was just recently reconditioned by a Porsche specialist, so in theory the synchros should have been done but maybe they didnt do a good job since like i said I have no reference since this is the first car in this lineage ive ever driven.

Maybe ill try find another person who knows these cars near me to drive it and give me their opinion if its fine or needs work.

Have a look at the underside of your seats, there could be 4 x 20 mm blocks between the rails and the seat bottom. I always remove these on my cars because I like to sit lower and for you it might give you more clearance from the steering column.

The early square dash cars (incl all the 924S) had an awkward steering position which they fixed on the later oval dash cars. There was a factory option for a deeper steering wheel that slightly raised the wheel, so maybe keep your eyes open for one.
