not sure if it's definate but people had suggested wednesday to avoid the crowds. maybe some of you guys who have been before can tell me: is it dead during the week? i've only gone on weekends the past two years and i really liked the energy and excitement of the event. if the weekdays take all the fun out of it then i'd rather go on the weekend.

Gather at the Blarney stone (rock) Bar & Grill on 33rd street half a block down from 7th Ave? Not far from the Javitz center (4 blocks or so).


Unfortunately there is a boozer form 6:30 to 8:30 at my convention. I can bag it earlish, but not super early say about 7:15. Which still leaves sometime for the show. I'm with my boss or I'd blow off the thing entirely, but he's a car buff and wants to come so maybe I can drag him out earlier.

But I've got nothing from 4:30 to 6:30 and it's just around the corner, so I could be there earlyish, leave and come back.

I can be spotted because I'm balding and will be wearing a Blue jacket. Other than that look for a pint of Guinness in front of me.

Good time was had by all, both of us.
