personally, i like the pictures that don't include the cracked dash. if you look closely you can see one crack below the speaker grille on the right.
good looking car, possibly 65k miles, but who knows for sure...

Oh, I misread the date. It's dated Jan 10 2004, not April 10 2004.
Either way it doesn't really matter since it's bogus.
Last time I saw a blatant lie on EBay (someone used pictures of MY OWN CAR to sell their car), I sent all of the potential buyers an e-mail letting them know the seller is misleading them.

So whats the story with Fuchs Vs cookie cutters? they are both Porsche equipment. How is it that some cars came with one and some with the other. Can someone fill me in I allways thought my wheels (cookie cutters) didn't quite look like the ones in some of the "posts"

Isn't it illegal to replace an odometer with one that has lesser mileage?
I know you can't do that here in CA, unless you have paperwork with it. Something about getting it "certified." lol.

While looking at ebay here is a sale for a 944S head, no bids, what you see is what you get and the pics are underexposed. Description says "add to your NA or turbo and really fly". Shame people don't know what they are talking about and expect dumber people to buy their junk. There was recently a thread in the Turbo forum about putting S heads on turbo motors but it will require more than a bolt on procedure!

There's so much crap and dishonesty on E-bay that I've given up ever checking. Am I missing something or is not worth the risk? I've heard nothing but tales of scams and rip offs for a year now.
Is there a silent, satisfied majority of Porsche guys who sucessfully secure good deals from honest folks on Ebay?

Gosh, it's not even a complete head! Who would pay nearly $1000 for a questionable, incomplete head w/ missing parts and no cams?! Aye caramba.
That being said...there are a LOT of VW guys (my old camp) who convert their 1.8L boosted 8v motors to either 16v or 20v heads. The power to be gained here is phenomenal, but depending on the exact parts being mated together, it does take a little work. I really wanted to do a 16v head on my Corrado, but it would have been a waste in a FWD car.
Assuming this is possible on the 944 motors, I'm thinking the reason it isn't done much (if at all) is the spectacular price and low availability on the DOHC head. The 16V and 20V VW heads are a dime a dozen; 16V heads sell for about 150 bucks complete with cams. There were just way more produced.

ummm.. I believe that appraisal was from 1985, not any current date. It even looks old.
Oh, and check out that SWEET cassette player! He may have even gotten the mono speaker option!!
