that's one of the ugly ones with the studs on the topside of the glass. I don't see it going for more than $600. if that.
My saratoga is sitting against the wall in my bedroom right next to my computer here. Everytime I see it I smile cuz I know I got a wicked deal on it.

People, DON'T BID YET!!!!
Geez, why do people bid early on EBay? All they do is jack the price up for themselves and everyone else. The best thing to do is wait until the last minute and THEN bid. Otherwise the sellers drag stuff out with these week-or-more-long auctions hoping to intice a bunch of suckers into driving the price up. I've only ever bid for anything in the last 60 seconds of an auction and NEVER lost, except for once where my price wasn't high enough to win - and I wouldn't have been willing to pay for what the winner ended up paying for anyway (it was $2,700 for a 1977 924 with no a/c, thanks but no thanks).
I've already got a price in my head for that glass, but I'm not going to bid on it until the end. . . If it isn't enough, it isn't enough, I don't care. There will be others.

I know of an 85 1/2 with 50k on the clock that's been sitting in a barn outside Detroit since 1996 (when I bought mine). It has one of these tops on it and a slight dent in the drivers door. He wasn't asking much back then......might be worth buying just for the top!

for $800-$900 I bet you could buy all the stuff necessary to make your own (the glass form, etc.) and make more to sell to everybody else.....well, maybe not...but thats a lot of money for one.
