Default Heater blower not working?

Hey all! It's my first time posting on rennlist so bear with me. I have a 1983 944 na and my heater blower quit working. The AC still works fine so I'm not too sure as to how to fix the heater blower. Can this be done? And is it an expensive fix? Any help is appreciated!

Thank you!

The blower itself is located in the middle of the engine bay back right below the windsheild..... and it could have just died. But, the fuse is probably the best thing to check first. It's #10 in the lower fuse bank.

What should I be looking for on the fuse box? Just see if it's tripped or off? And are blowers something that are easily replaceable? I saw a thread and they made it seem all very confusing. Just looking for some clearer insight

The biggest pita about getting at the heater/fresh air blower is removing the plastic cover, and all the time cleaning all the gooey sealant they used to adhere it in the first place. The blower itself is a VW part and are pretty cheap.

WELCOME TO THE LIST! check the fuses first. Then the grounds...Then if you can find them, go to the motor connections... use a jumper from the battery to see if the blower motor has died, is full of mouse poop, or just needs to be lubricated. There may be a relay in the mix here as well, that could have gone south and is preventing current flow to the motor.
