Yes. Mine will run a couple minutes after shut down if it is hot out.

Arrrgh! The Diagnostic version is already sold out.

Having diagnosed the darn things with a jumper per the instructions on “Clark’s” in the past... I was looking forward to your releasing this...hope you make more!

I put the Diagnostics version back in sock, I can still build more than I originally had available.

The fan continuing to run after shut down is generally the temp switch in the radiator commanding low-speed fans. The fans will continue to run until the radiator temperature drops below the "temp slow" threshold. Extending the time the fans run during shutdown would likely not make much of a difference to your engine. This is because the water pump is unable to circulate coolant unless it is running. Blowing cool air over the engine may have some effect, but I would not think it would be significant.

I just want to give everyone an update,

I was expecting to sell a few of these, but it took only 3 days to sell out of every Fan SSR I could build. At this point, I have everyone's order nearly ready to go and I expect to ship tomorrow. I was hoping to ship earlier, but there was too many to build and the Diagnostics version takes significantly more time. Overwhelmingly, the Diagnostic version was preferred over the standard Fan SSR.

I would like to thank the Beta testers, especially Tom Pultz, for all the hours of testing and feedback.

Regards,

Joe Baumbach

I hope there's going to be more of these for those of us who are late to the game...

Yes, there are more scheduled for the next production cycle. Joe's waiting on the next batch of enclosures to be manufactured. Obviously, these are relatively small production runs so one can understand if the vendor doesn't produce a whole slew of them, not knowing how successful they will be. The good news is they were really successful

Any ETA on the next batch? Is there a way I can pre-order one of the diagnostic versions?
