Default Heater blower.... dead?

This morning i started the car, and turned on the heater fan. Left it on for my usual 10 min warmup idle i let it do before i drive it in the cold mornings. i come back outside, get in, and the blower isnt on anymore. (no air coming out of the vents). Been that way all day. no matter what level its set on, no air. This is rough because of my exhaust leak up front, air blowing through the cabin keeps any intruding smell out. I checked fuses... looked like 17 ( i think thats waht it was) was the only one in line with it. It was fine. Is there any connection i can easily check, or any other diagonostics? is this an odd part to fail with no warning?

thanks

Usually, the resistor pack gets dirty and begins to fail. But this is usually indicated by no fan for positions 0, 1, 2, and 3. Position 4 bypasses the resistor pack, I believe, and will blow full speed. Sounds like this may not be the case for you, but it's a frequent failure on the heating system.

Other ideas out there RennListers?

Okay, so i figured it out. went through and checked every fuse 1 by 1. once i got to the second row of fuses, i came upon one that was dead.... It was in the seat heating slot. (i dont have heated seats).... put it in, now the fan works. No clue why, i can only guess it was another hacck wiring job by the PO, like the entire rest of the car. If anyone has this problem, you might want to check that fuse.

Thanks for the help.
