Talking Inexpenive Fuel injectors

Hi, Anyone looking for inexpensive fuel injectors? I found a site that has Rebuilt injectors for my 944"S" for 35.99 plus a 12.00 core. They include a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty. Core is refundable too....DUH.

I found a local place that cleas injectors for $15 each. They also fix o-ring's caps etc.

Never had one fail, but plenty have been dirty!

I've talked to these folks as they are local. Here's what a rebuild is according to their tech guy:

New windings if out of ohmic spec, new pintles, new caps, new o-rings. All have been cleaned, bench/flow tested, and must fall within 5% of spec. They even have my Q45 injectors for $35.99, Q owners are used to spending $60 minimum used plus another $15-20 for cleaning. With a 12 month warranty that's real hard to beat.

Some one found new generics for less than $40 each.

Now I have to figure out who it was that told me.

I think I would rather stick with my properly rebuilt Bosch... They do have a 1 year warranty....... Unless it is a really great deal, backed up by a good warranty.

I had mine cleaned and new o-rings etc. for $20 each. It's not an amazing deal.
