Boy, those are going to be pretty expensive for 3. 40 quid and you don't even know how they work.
There are leds and there are LEDS. You need to know what the light output and the spread is. Perry951 went through all this on his gauge light project to get it to work nice. He has a lot more time on gauge leds than I do so drop him a line and see what he has to say.
Unless you have lots of spare cash to waste, being a banker, I wouldn't buy them until you figure out what exactly you are getting.
