Well, after getting the car back on the road, after sitting for 4+ years, I spent 5 days working on the paint. It is Guards Red and it looked tomato red when I began. I received a lot of help from Larry @ Car Care Online. He is amazing! Any question I had, he had the answer and it worked! He also said that he tests any product that he sells for at least a year before selling it. Anyway, I used the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. Took a LOT!!!!! of work. I did an 8"x8" area at a time and I had to do it at least 3 or 4 times over the entire car! Then the P21S wax applied by hand, no applicator! You do a 12x12 area and massage the wax into the paint until it gets harder to rub, then immediately wipe it off. So many people thought the paint on my car was dead. Don't give up on your red paint! It doesn't look new, but it looks better than it ever has!

Sorry, no pics available. No digital camera. Someday I will join the 90's and get one. Really, it is absolutely amazing that it looks almost new. If you order something from Car Care Online, Larry will send you his list of products and how to use them and the best way to take care of your car cosmetically.
