Default 924S window

The drivers window in my 88 924S is dead. No movement, no noise , nothing, Passenger window works fine so i guess its note the fuse nor the relay. I have ordered a new window switch ( which is easy to replace) and if that dont work I guess its a service booking to open the door cart etc.

Any advice / tips more that welcomed

Before you break out the parts cannon you should check a couple things first. Many cars have separate fuses for right and left windows, do not know if the 944 is set up this way (too lazy to check because my windows work!) but you should check. If fuses check out switch the two window switches with each other. If the problem follows the switch, the switch is bad. If not, apply power directly to the window motor. If the motor does not work, replace motor. If motor works it will be a wiring problem. Judging by your post this is way beyond your ability/desire to do, so bring it to a shop.

Window motor was the culprit. Replaced and all working 100% now. Much better than before actually
