Default 944T 86 with 1988TS

Me Again

First the old owner replaced the motor from is 1986 Turbo with a 1988
Turbo S .

I opened this morning both DME and KLR
They are OEM with part number
DME: 951-618-113-02
KLR: 951-168-121-02

What do I need to work properly with the turboS motor, do I need to swap only the DME and KLR or burn new chips

Thanks everybody

Gates

It really only matters if you have the k26/8 turbo that the "S" came with. The motors are pretty much the same otherwise. Find out which turbo it has and that will give everyone a bigger picture to look at.

That looks like it might be a 24-pin DME box. The 28-pin ones have a -09 number at the end. Just crack it open and see. I can get you GURU TurboS mappings in a 24-pin chip as well.
