Thanks for this awesome write-up! I've ordered the parts and am doing this job next weekend. Thanks to all of your details, the only part I'm not looking forward to is cramming myself into the driver's side footwell. Thanks a lot!

Do I need to take the starter out, just to bleed the slave cylinder? Is the slave cylinder in the front end of the car?

I am planning on bleeding my brakes this weekend, thought it would be a good idea to bleed the slave cylinder at the same time.

You don't /really/ have to, unless you strip the bleed screw. Its just tight, and you get brake fluid on your starter.
