Default Digital clock light

Well, the light burnt out on my digital clock...I hear it is a pain in the butt to get the thing out to replace the light. Anybody replaced it before? It seems most of the things I hear are PITA's aren't bad after all.

If a clutch change is 10/10 then replacing the clock bulb will be 0.5/10. You'll need to remove the Aircon console to have access to the bulb. Cheers!

umm im pretty sure all you have to do is pop off that black trim piece covering the clock and such, and teh clock comes wtih it. and you can just pullthe bulb out of the back.. but maybe im wrong.. just seems to be how i thought it would be done when i took off that trim because mine was broken.

Both Paragon "http://64.226.197.185/Paragon/Tech/944_clock.htm" and Clark's Garage "http://www.clarks-garage.com/" have instructions on how to remove the clock and change the bulb. I bought the replacement bulb in a two pack at Pep Boys - Sylvania part number 2721.

The whole procedure was relatively simple. The worst part was getting the bulb into the bulb holder, which required a steady hand, thin needle nose pliers and my reading glasses.

Good luck!

It's really not that hard just aggrivating. The dealer has the bulbs already in the holder. Buy 2, I broke the first one. It's just really annoying trying to get the bulb base to clip into the clock.

did it yesterday, took ten minutes. the trim snaps in around the glove box ****, so you have to pry it off there. The thing is very fragile, including the veins on the little round air intake for the temperature. Be very careful turning it. i broke mine with a screwdriver. try a quarter or fifty cent piece to fit from end to end in the slot you pick.
