Ok, this is one weird issue that I got with my car.
Sometimes the CC does not work, and others times it does.
When it does work, it works perfectley at around under 50mph, but when I
pass 50 mph, and turn the CC on, the car just guns it, and takes me to 80.
Do I have a bad CC brain? Cracked solder joints? What could it be?
TIA!

The brain is probably faulty...BUT...I've often wondered about these CC units. Mine almost always sets itself at 5mph intervals it seems...rarely can I set it without having the car accel a little bit. I don't think there is any type of gearing in these things...its just a cable connecting it to the DME and a linkage cable to the throttle correct?
