Default +1 for the Jeep Wrangler Struts

Thanks for the tip. These were perfect for my 1988 924S. I had removed my rear wiper motor, so my hatch is lighter than stock. The force is exactly right - no separation, plus my hatch lifts gently on its own when I use the hatch release button in the driver door well!

Perfect new struts!

I think they also include male connectors to connect your defrost to which you can see in the product photo (I don't have a rear wiper or use rear defrost so left mine disconnected).

PO had replacement struts that were WAY too strong and would force the hatch up with a good deal of pressure. This is not what you want because that upward force is what is going to cause separation (as mentioned)
