We don't have front mounted engines..
It's more of a mid-front, cause last time I checked the engine is right over the axle and a lot closer to the middle of the car than most (front engined) cars.

i never noticed the placement of my engine in comparison to my axles.
i was looking at a poster of a boxster today: is it really 50/50 weight?...it LOOKS like it would be more like 42/58 (front/rear)
also....is the engine completely behind the rear wheels in a late model 911?
