I'm curious about a few things, before I get to spending a whole lot of time digging into the wiring diagrams, which I'm not real good with anyway, but will try to get through it. These are parts from a parts car that I'd like to verify their condition prior to possibly selling them. 1985/2 parts. Of course my car is an early model.
1: Has anyone bench tested their climate control and or their digital clock using just a battery for the supply power, and the FSM callouts for the voltage checks on the climate control? I haven't a car to test it in, and want to be able to do it on the bench. Just wanting to know if it really is a doable thing on the bench using the FSM callouts as the gauge for condition.
2: Is the lightbulb behind the fan switch of the climate control soldered into the unit, or will it pull out of there?
3: I know the lightbulb is burned out in the digital clock. So I'm assuming I must come up with a bulb first if I want to actually test the clock out, right?
Thanks in advance for any input to these questions!
