They don't make "super whaite". Besides you go much higher than stock and you will melt that tiny plasitc lens.
Why on earth you would you want a super bright license plate lens anyway? So people can get your plate number because you zipped by them at 90 mph?

You may have two problems going on. An old original bulb will not be as bright and white as a new one, so just replace them. The bulb has a BA9S base. I think most of the stock bulbs were either 3 or 4 watt (these bulbs come in 2, 3 and 4 watt.) The 4 watt bulb by Sylvania/Osram is a #3893.
Now I just looked in a catalog and I found some Halogen specialty bulbs that should fit without modification. How does 20 watts sound? That would be super bright and white. But you would be dripping hot plastic on your bumper in about 10 minutes.
Your other problem is your plastic lens may be yellowing with age - you will have to replace them if they are and this bothers you.

Yea but it just might help at one of those photo intersections - they typically have a strobe or flash, but I don't know - maybe (just maybe) it'd make the difference between getting ticketed and not. . .
