944 Sitings...
It was great. I saw four 944s today. Three N/As (very cool) and a Turbo. All read of course.
It's cool to see one, but four is unheard of. I saw the Turbo on the way to lunch, the first N/A at lunch (Hooters). The other two N/As, on the way home, a '93 (I've meet the owner before) and anouther two blocks from the '93. Great day.

Hmm, most in one day... probably 2 when some guy with an S parked beside me at school. Well actually more if you count the PCA meets...
There are only maybe 5-6 944's in my city and surrounding area here, and I doubt I'll ever see them all at once.

I always see at least one every day Other than that, I'd say either my trip to Georgia a few years ago or Florida the last time was the time I saw the most Porsches, but that was before I had mine. On those two trips I couldn't go five minutes without seeing some Porsche or another.....914s, 924s, 944s, 911s, 928s.....
Now I did get to finally flash a Porsche the other day! I was just coming out of my neighborhood onto the main road turning left, was just into the inside lane before moving to the outside lane and a Kalahari Beige one came from the opposite direction. Flashed my lights twice (windows up) and he had his window down about 6 inches and waved back!!!
I had something cool happen Saturday too....driving into Bristol on the Interstate I look up to see a mid-90s Audi flying up behind me in the inside lane. He gets up beside me, slows down and waves and grins! I waved back of course, then he took off and took the next exit ramp.
Too cool

I work in Irvine, CA, and Porsches are rather abundant in that city, especially since I work near John Wayne Airport.
I average about 3 different ones a day, easily, between 944, 911, and Boxsters.

Yeah, well Cali and Irvine in particular is like nice-car heaven. The cost of a car is like a drop in the bucket compared to living expenses, or so I hear.
I'm lucky to see one Boxster every 6 months. And a 911? Well if it wasn't for the old 964 near me I'd probably be seeing one maby once or twice a year. If I go to Toronto chances of a Porsche sighting go up by a bit though.
Porsches are associated with Roman Emperors or other high status figures over here.
