Ok, I now see that my friend wired my ignition coil wrong. I really really hope this is why my car isn't starting, but I need you guys to help me wire it back up:
Here's a picture of my current setup. Note the unused top of one resistor and how the wire on the left resistor goes to the coil, which I now think is wrong due to pictures from when I first got the car. (and the car ran based on that previous setup) They showed that wire attached to something else, but I'm not sure what.

In instructions that a small boy can understand, please tell me how to wire this thing back to life!
Thanks guys,
-Jeff

All the 924 wiring diagrams are online at www.pelicanparts.com.
It's just going to take some time to trace them out. Try using crayons or colered markers.
Good luck.

If I remember correctly (I am about 700 miles from my 924 otherwise I would look) the resistors are wired in series - one connects to the other. From there, I can't remember. But remember not to tighten the coil terminals very tight... I broke off one of the studs last time I cleaned the resistor/connector mess!
