[QUOTE=. . . . . This last week of fluke driving weather has come to a sad end ..[/QUOTE]

Well, Michigan has continued to deliver fabulous Fall temps and colors . . . great for some windy roads near my home. But yeah, as Eddard Stark said often, "Winter is coming".

I did NOT know, but will definitely check into it. Thanks for the tip.

I DID, however, check on my DME relay yesterday, after learning (here) 1. what 'DME' was, and 2. that it can really affect my mood. I've found here that Focus F9 markets 2 versions - pump-prime and regular. The guy seems to be well thought of. Any thoughts on the rely . . . and which version to chose?

TIA,
Matt

Nothing special. As far as records show (since 1986!!) its been a 2-owner car in Texas. First fella looks to have had it 2-3 years. The next guy must've kept it submerged in formaldehyde for 32 years.

So far, looks like I have a leaky windshield washer reservoir.

Personally, I just got a cheap URO DME Relay as a backup. The original is still going strong. Trying to diagnose something once, I did open it and cleaned it up a bit inside. It's a very simple device and I am quite surprised to hear of so many failures.

That interior is very nice indeed. Is that an original radio?

If your steering wheel is too far away for your liking, you can relatively easily find a used factory "Sport" one with the 30mm factory add-on (then just switch the add-on to yours).
