I am looking at buying a 951 in the Dayton / Cincinnati area and the owners camera is not working. It is going to get a PPI on Wednesday but if possible I would like to see some pictures as well. Anyone got any free time and might be willing to go ogle and snap a few shots of a 951?

I am kinda' mid way between Dayton and Cinci, slightly closer to Dayton (in the Franklin area) so depending on where it is, if I could be of help, let me know.

 

Seller has located a camera so Thanks to all. I will let ya'all know what it looks like. Plan is to fly in on Sat. morning and drive it back to North Carolina. Seller also has a red 968 cab for sale for $14,000 if anyone is interested.

Well the 951 is finally at Northland Porsche to get it's PPI and that won't be done till tommorrow so I am waiting with baited breath... Got a check from my bank and a plane ticket for Saturday morning. Good grief this week is going to drag by...

It wouldn't by chance to be the 951 that is owned by a certain PCA member in Cincinnati, would it? It's been in the PCA classifieds for awhile. Tell us, which car is it?

 

I don't believe so. The fellow who is selling it purchased it in West virginia from an Army Reservist who got called to active duty to go to IRAQ. My friend Dan (RSRDAN) found it and told me about it. We got lucky as I called the morning after the ad ran. I am tired of missing 951s by just a couple of days. It is an 87 red, with tan interior. 16 inch phone dials and no engine mods. 93,000 miles and we shall see what the PPI says in the morning. I am almost pacing here. The guys secratary has yet to send pictures but Jim At Northland said at a glance it looked "very shiney red" so we will see.
