Try out the koni yellows. I installed mine several years ago and am quite pleased.

Just put koni adjustables on the front and bilsteins on the rear, I am very happy with them. They seem about the same rebound as the fronts set at full firm.

i'm going to be purchasing bilstein HD's front and rear. full set comes to around $450, and you can even order them from autozone. i think they're a little cheaper than the koni yellows.

the HD's are quite firm and not adjustable, like the konis. but several other drivers i've spoken with have found the bilsteins to be more far more durable than the konis. so you sacrifice adjustability for durability. but if i had koni's i'd probably keep the rebound on firm most of the time anyway.

really, you can't go wrong with either the koni yellows or bilstein HD's. it's nice to have such good options to choose from.

I put bilsteins on the rear of my '83 and really like them. I'm sure the konis are fine, too.
