Default shifter linkage bolt

i wanted to get the sideways slack out of the shifter and found out how in the achives and now I've broken a bolt. It attaches to the linkage over the transaxle to a pivoting bracket. The bolt has a large 15 mm head and uses a sandwich of neoprene washers. At the other side it fits into the bracket with what appears to be a ball joint. My question is how is it held onto the ball joint, is it just a rubber grommet or is it mechanically held. I dont want to do more damage so if anyone could help that'd be great. Now i'm off to the store for some Gunk cleaner as its a mess down there.

Well the bolt at the dealer is $47.50C thats probably a buck and half US. So I could machine a bolt or get a short shift kit. Any thoughts?

If it's 477 711 147A it is more than just a bolt, and my Autothority short shift kit did not change this part of the shifter. If it's broken, new or dismantler are probably your best options. If you want to machine one, it depends on how broken yours is . . .

Well that was job from hell. I got at new bolt at the dealer and got it in after a bit of a struggle. I was trying to take the side to side slack out of the shifter and it didn't work so I took the shifter apart and the horizontal pin was worn so bad it had tapered at each end. Archives had a fix that I used but instead of a 3/8 bolt though I used a 10mm and welded that in. The shifter is now nice and snug and side ways motion is gone.
