Hi Everyone-
Up for sale is a stock 968 wing. These things aren't easy to get ahold of, here's a shot for the good people of Rennlist.
I had it shipped from Germany with the intent of installing it, but it turns out it wont fit my hatch and i'm not about to buy a new one. It's back at home and i'm at school so no pictures just yet, possibly this weekend.
Its in good shape overall, with the exception of damaged mountings on the passenger side. It was perfect, but some people don't like to use packing material when shipping fragile things across the atlantic. It could be fixed with relatively little effort with bondo, i'm able to but i have about zero time for side projectsat home. I'd be willing to work something out with the buyer if neccessary though.
Post up or PM me if you're interested.
Thanks,
Ian

Of course, not seeing it in person, I can only assume it is a real 968 or late-S2 wing.
If that's what it is, it won't fit a standard 944 hatch, without somehow drilling the glass (scary!) or modifying the way that it mounts. It won't be a simple bolt-on.
That being said, you would really need a real 968 or late-S2 (1991? Karl Glynn would know) hatch to mount it to. Or know a good body man that can re-work it.
Again, I am only assuming that is what it is. If it is not, then disregard my comments. HTH.

Sam, Didn't it end up taking a great deal of effort and money, IIRC?
(Hey, I sent you a PM last nite about that other matter but your box is full. Did you get my email? Email me at jeremy.mudd@huffy.com. Thanks!)

Well, it cost alot because I needed alot of extra crap.
You will need:
4 968 pieces: 2 sides, wing, and part that runs across glass under wing.
Rubber: 2 for sides, and 1 or 2 for bottom- I think there are 2 (not cheap!)
I also had to buy a factory brakelight as it was not present. ($230.00) -this may not apply if it has one or is a S2 spoiler.
Paint-If you can paint, theres a freebie.
Labor-
I payed 140 to have it installed. It was the first thing the body shop ever did on my car and now they are the only place I use. YMMV of course. I can get details from them on the method they used when I pick up my car if it ever gets finished!![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
