OT: remove grenade launcher on SKS
I this is quite OT, but does involve wrenching so it is kinda appropriate. Does anyone know how to remove the grenade launcher assembly on an SKS?

It's probably a muzzle break or a flash suppressor. Either way, any AK-based barrel I've ever worked on had left-hand threads at the muzzle. If it's removable, there should be a push pin at the base of the front sight that locks it in place. If it's a post-ban unit, it's likely tack welded in place.

gernade launcher on an SKS???????
really?
we own one, plastic folding pistol grip stock, bayonet (sp?), 30 round clips (tracers)
i've seen lots of them and never seen a gernade launcher..(true militia model?)
EDIT: SKS Yugoslavian M59/66. It was made in the Zastava factory in Yugoslavia. It comes with a 22mm gernade launcher on the barrel, flip up night sights, and a 11.5 inch bayonet.
