Default El Cheapo steering wheel

Got this steering wheel from Autozone for like $60 and fits and feels perfect. Hey, its real leather and its not APC brand. Now I just need to get a nice Porsche crest on the horn button. Is there a "generic" decal or crest that is small enough to put on the center?

hey,
nice, did you need an adaptor to fit that?

If it is the size of the momo buttons (don't know the size though) then you can pick them up off ebay from time to time, rather rare now so they cost around ~$40 if I recall correctly...

Adaptor? Yes, it uses the standard Grant adaptor. It was like $15 for the adaptor. I believe that these steering wheels are a knock-off from momos. So the size of the horn button should be the same.

I miss my old wheel .. I really liked it .. and I can't find another one!
It went with the car so perfectly, so keep your eyes out if you have an early 944!
I think the buttons are all the same.

Was there a model number or part number on this thing? Also where can one get the grant adapter?

Looks a lot like the 968CS wheel, only $300 cheaper!

dang, i'd say you got a good deal

the one I have (grant) has a bit wider rim, but without as much shaped hand grip at the 3 and 9 positions. mine cost me about 140 for the wheel and the adapter. (i think the pre-85.5 adapter was 2 or 3 times as expensive

Here is the website for the manufacturer..However, there are no steering wheels listed on their website

www.pilotautomotive.com

I have a feeling that Grant makes these products for Pilot.
You can probably go to Autozone and find this wheel like I did.
Pilot also sells the adaptor kit. You will need part#
6572 or 3568 (either one works).

The G35C is one of the few new cars out there right now that has a very classic coupe styling. Its not too overdesigned and not too simple either. My vote for one of the best styled sports coupes in the world alongside the 944!
