Default Headliner adhesive?....what type?

Over the winter my headliner has "come loose" and is drooping along the back window line next to the hinges. It looks like a simple glue job will do the trick....any suggestions on which type of adhesive I should be using?

I found some really good stuff. It is called E6000 Industrial strength adhesive. You can find it at Michael's or other crafts type stores.

It has some elasticity to allow it to stretch and react to the heat. I just re-did my back headliner, same as yours, a month ago. It is easy to work with and self leveling, at least it claims it is self leveling. I found that there were no lumps in my work, though I did "clamp" the edges down overnight to let it set. It is holding up great, but it has only been cold up here in the NE. I expect that it will do just fine in the summer heat.
