Looks like an old persons car. Does nothing for me, pearl belongs on Lexus', Cadillac Deville's, and Lincoln Town Cars (anyone seen the GOD AWFUL shade of pearl they are using now?)

I saw a pearl white 951 (an 86 I think) at Summit Point. The owner said it is one of 6 from the factory. Beautiful in person.

I love the Porsche Pearl White. Looks really good on the 944/951, especially with the wine-color interior.
I heard some interesting comments from a Porsche factory guy once about their pearl paint:
It's comprised of 7 different coats of paint.
The mirrors and headlight covers are painted on a separate line. It was difficult to get these to match the body.
It is almost impossible to match outside of the factory.
At one time, it was a $10K option to a 911.
Very unique! That's probably why they only exported so few of them.
Most of the pearls around today involve a single mix of paint - not nearly as pretty, but a lot cheaper!

Z-Man, if the shoe fits :>) Ducks for cover!!!
Cant stand it, a sports car should NEVER, repeat NEVER, be painted Pearl Just say the name, Mother of Pearl. Does that sound like a sports car color?
Hugger Orange, Guards Red, Flamin' Yellow, those are sports car colors. Mother of Pearl is about as "old people' as you get :>)
