Default Belts and rollers...

Anyone know where i can buy the timing belt, balance shaft belt, and all required rollers in one kit? Or do I have to buy them seperatly?? And if so, how many rollers are there?

the only rollers you need are the 2 little plastic idle rollers and then the 2 tentioner rollers. the other ones in there are the balance shaft gears which dont really need to be replaced. and then theres the water pump roller.... but that can only be changed with the water pump.

I only know because i JUST did this job like 2 days ago.

Zim's is probably cheaper, go online and search for Zim's Autotechnik to get their phone number. Never had a problem with them and they always seem to outprice everyone...Their ads are also in Excellence...

I use Zim's all the time. They do have great prices on general maintenance parts:

www.allzim.com

I just did a waterpump/belt/roller change.

Guys, if bloodraven is _not_ changing his waterpump, doesn't he have to check to make sure which timing belt idler (non-toothed) pulley he needs (early or late)? Doesn't this depend on whether he has the early or late waterpump?

BTW, Zims has a great price on remanufactured waterpumps ($79).

Also, if you are changing the waterpump, make sure to order new hardware ($8) and a new thermostat and seal.

Give them a call...it's toll free and they have tons of advice, knowledge, etc. available. They only keep a small amount of what they really have available on the site.
