Unhappy alarm system question

Hello there. Does anyone have an extra alarm system key and lock? (the one just behind the drivers door) Or can I go to the dealer and get a replacement key? When I bought my car the alarm key was missing. Just figured I would like to have one.......
Thanks

You can remove the lock and take it to a locksmith.

To get to the lock: Open the driver's door, remove the vent, reach up into the quarter panel, disconnect the wires. Remove the plastic bezel that is around the tumbler, and then remove the nut. The lock can then be removed through the vent hole.

I hope you have better luck with your locksmith than I had with mine. I was in the same situation with the alarm lock and my local Porsche dealer recommended a locksmith. I took it there an I should have known there was trouble when he said "what's this?". Well he made a key, but screwed up the internals, (there must be more than just a lock in there because you can't just jump the wires). The alarm would go off whatever position the key was in. I wound up ordering a new lock and two keys and that solved the problem. I as a recall it was about $80 online. Good luck.
