Post Help in DFW area?

My quest continues...

There's a 951 on e-bay that's in Fort Worth, and I wonder if anyone is nearby or has heard anything about the dealership: 951 on ebay. My carfax account expired, so I haven't checked the VIN yet. I'll try to find someone with an active account or renew mine. Any help would be appreciated.

I live in the DFW area. Don't have Carfax, but I guess I could check out the car.

They're bidding $6100 right now (4 days left), so I don't know if you can get it cheap enough to bother.

I offer NO guarantees, just an opinion. Let me know.

(I know how difficult it is to evaluate a car over the Internet. I bought a wrecked 944 a few years ago, and didn't know whether to plan to drive it back 5000 miles, or ship it. I got lucky, and drove it back.)

Stephen, if you still need someone to do this let me know, it is not that far from my office. I cannot look today but I can tomorrow.
