I've done motor mounts three times. The first time was a learning experience and took most of a day. The second time it was fairly easy and I took a few hours (slow with lots of breaks). The third time, just a week ago took me about 5 days. I got the passenger side on fine but could not get the other side to line up properly. Matt H helped me and we were able to manhandle the mount back together again. Get the good mounts and don't be cheap like I was. They may go in easy, but I had a bad week.

mikl - the supermounts are the ultimate answer, if you dont care about money. Otherwise listen very carefully BUY OE mounts, they are two times as much but go in 2 times as easy and last longer. On DMEs car the problem was that the mount was drill just a hair off center on the non-OE mount. We must have screwed with one side for 3 hours. I have R&Red pairs in under an hour. I have NEVER been as pissed off at a motor mount as I was at his car!

With the group down there R&Ring motor mounts is an easy task and you guys can probably do it in less than 2 hours. I will warn that doing it yourself with no other hands it can be a miserable job, it is VERY hard to line up the crossmember and get everything just right with no extra hands.

Mine need changeing also, and I've never done it before either. Not looking forward to the frustration. However, it will be soooo nice to not have the car vibrate while i am sitting at a stop light.

Will not changing until the summer cause any extreme amounts of damage. Meaning can it wait, or should that be something that is address when I take my car out from storage?

Ben, it depends on how bad they are, it can stretch belts, break bolts, stretch ps hoses, etc. At the end of the day is it likely to die from not having them done? Not really, but it *could* happen.

mikl1976, if your talking about the kokeln solid motor mounts, I was under the impression that those are designed for track purposes and will accually increase vibration.
