Default fuel line leak - need temporary fix

i have a leak in the fuel line just after the tank between the filter and the pump. when the line is pressurized, there is actually a tiny stream of gas shooting out. the stream is no thicker than a strand of spiderweb. obviously, i need replace this short line. but, i'd like to be able to patch the line instead of dripping gas until i can get the part. what is the best temporary fix for a small leak such as this? thank in advance.

PLEASE BE SAFE. Dont risk fire.

You may lose a little fuel but-

Just replace the hose. If it's the rubber w/ clamps it's easy. You may as well replace the rubber line above the trans as well before it goes too.

this fuel line has fittings at the ends, since it's between the fuel pump and filter, not just clamps. how do i stop the drip temporarily until i can source the part?

Ok.. 5 minute epoxy (on the pinhole) and some black electrical tape (over the new epoxy patch) should get you a few miles- maybe up to 50 miles..
The epoxy takes at least 5 minutes to set at 50. - an hour is better. 24 hours to cure fully.

tell me you carry a fire extinguisher!!
