Oh yeah I forgot about your mech question.

For your issue, I wouldn't recommend Eurocar Werk.

Pro Technik might be able to do it, but I've lost a little faith in them recently when I had to complete something they said they couldn't. (It wasn't that hard).

Viking might not be a bad choice, but bear in mind the LSR club race is next weekend at TWS, so all the local Porsche speed shops are busy getting the toys ready.

Pro Technik and Viking are indeed in the same complex, they're down in Stafford.

I know Terry Lawell. (Lawell Motor Sports) He's a very nice guy, and his prices are very reasonable. I haven't needed his services in quite awhile myself, but I know he's still open. His shop really is tiny.

The only other good one that comes to mind is Rennsport out in Sealy. I know the 993 guys swear by him. His name is Mike Callas.

Sweet.

Let me know when you're ready. It'll only take a few minutes.

I'm in Middlebrook. Come on by sometime. I'll PM you my address and phone number.

Check your PM box. Maybe we can get together and I can at least have a look-see. We can talk about what hoses you'll need. It seems I've become somewhat of an expert on those lately...

The only thing I am concerned with is that none of those items are going to help you with fuel delivery. They may help prevent fire but that is about it. You may want to check your TPS and then pose the question to the board about why you are having to give it gas to start it (which shouldnt make a difference as fuel injected cars will not actually inject fuel until there is electrical power).

I'll have a look at the TPS Matt. He lives in my neck of the woods.

hey! i'm in Sugar Land, I go to Viking too...havn't been there in a while but I'm going to go soon for him to check out some stuff.

I heard Pro Technik has an in house Dyno, anyone know their rates? Planning on getting the car fully tuned by the end of next week

And welcome!

Pro Technik has a dyno. I can't remember the rates for sure. We were doing a whole bunch of other stuff to my car the last time I used it, so I can't remember what they charged me for the dyno time.

Just remember what I said about the club race. When I called them earlier this week, they were in the middle of two engine rebuilds. They're leaving for TWS on Thursday, because the races will run Fri-Sun. I suspect the story at Viking will be the same.

I'm thinking of taking Friday off to go to the track. I think Matt H will be there too, since he and I talked about it this morning. Anybody else want to go?

We NEED to have a FUN RUN. I propose a similar route to the last one. I will NOT be able to do a run on any Saturday, but Sundays are good. Who wants to set a date?
