I will be in the Austin area the first week of April and would like to meet all of you, see your cars. It is a pleasure trip to see family so what more pleasurable than seeing and talking 944's. We are going to Dallas area for some time (planned) but I am open for suggestions.

 

Damn - I will probably not be here then, it appears I will be at my new office then (but you never know, I have to go back and forth for the next few weeks!).

I'm game. We can hook up in Dallas or Austin. I'm always looking for an excuse to drive somewhere. I wouldn't mind going back up to Dallas anyway when Hoosier Daddy decides he's ready to work on his car again.

Everyone's schedules are hard to align sometimes, but if you make it as far south as Houston I'll do my best to gather some of the guys.

 

If it's raining I'll be there!

Austin would be a great drive from Houston. Maybe meet in Bastrop State Park for a picnic or something. Kinda short notice to go too far (with fancy picnic plans). We'd most likely need more advance notice to reserve a spot - but you guys get the idea. Just need a place to meet and greet.

 

I arrive Sat. the 3rd and leave Sun. the 11th. Everything in between is available. I open for suggestions since I'm on vacation.

 

Thanks for the support. I'll let all know as my plans firm up as to which day(s) I will be in Dalllas. My daughter lives in Austin, so thats where we will be based. I know she wants to show us some of the clubs around Austin.

 

The weekend of April 3-4 is better for me.

The time is getting near. We arrive Sat the 3rd in Austin. Plans open for Sat eve. and Sun. We are going to Houston on Monday the 5th. Will be at the Houston/Giants ballgame opener that MON. Then Tue. we are going to NASA, do the usual sight seeing trip. Back to Austin on Wed. The rest is up in the air. I will try to make it when ever and where ever you can make it.Sat night or Sun is open. I know the family will be shopping or laying by the pool.
