And I thought 993 TT Brakes were big....

dude, were you never a college student? 7bucks, 12 pack bottles/cold. I was looking for a buzz not a pat on the back for drinking beer you call worthwhile.
Ian, are the rotors standard 996 TT rotors?

Brandon,
They are not the OEM rotors, I'm going to see if I can snag a set of trashed 996 TT rotors and test fit them, but i'm 99% sure that they won't fit.

But I don't feel I have to defend the highlife, I save money on beer so I can buy more car parts, seems like a fair trade off to me.
And I'll agree with the Pepsi, but diet?

Diet Pepsi: 1. I'm a diabetic, and 2. I could loose a few pounds!
-Z.
PS: Dave: be careful how your respond to that: remember: you wouldn't want to not be able to drive at Lime Rock because you failed tech!

Yeah the quest to drop some weight is for both me and my car car, I figure I can get back to drop 10 lbs if i'm asking my car to be 200 lbs lighter than it was when I was delivered from the factory.....
So far:
Light weight seats
AC Delete
Back seat delete
Aluminum Torque Tube
Spare Tire / Compressor delete
What I would like to do:
Fiberglass / CF hood
Fiberglass / Euro rear bumper
Volk TE-37 Wheels in porsche fitments

Man, those calipers are like the size of my 15 inch phonedials...
Forget about whiplash from acceleration, i think you will be the first person to get whiplash from hard braking!

Techno,
At one of my first DE's I went for a ride with an instructor with a race prepped 968 w/ Big Red, we didn't get the 5 pt harnesses tight enough and I had two red marks on my shoulders that night from the being slammed into the harnesses coming into every corner.

Haha amazing. I think the most powerful brakes that i have experienced on any car were with my friends Lancer Evo. That freaken thing had some serious stopping power. I was 'test driving' it in a parking lot one night, brought it up to 60 and braked hard. Stopped a dozen or so feet before i expected it too.

And although these brakes will add more bite, it is really the tires that make the biggest difference in a cold run 60 - 0.....
These brakes will be better at bleeding off the extra heat and peforming well lap after lap.....
