I know from Tim Comeau that he sat 2 poles and won 2 races - in a 924S no less. Here's a neat pic he sent:

I'm bummed out I didn't know about it. Instead I spent most of the weekend sitting around playing need for speed underground. Very good game, and quite entertaining to see how stupid you can make your car look while still advancing throughthe game.

I'm not sure on the owners - but, I do know that Tim rides along in the confusing black and white striped 924S with pimpin' green wheels.

 

I think I saw the 4th car from the left (with the red/white/blue paint scheme, CA license plate "944SPEC" or "SPEC944") last night!

It was being trailered by a white VW Toureag (sp?), going south on I-15, about 4:45 PM near Mira Mesa (North San Diego Area). Looked nice! There was a black boxster in front of this car, looks like they were sticking together.

Now that I look again, I am 99% sure that was the car!

wow Tim's spec class has really grown since the last time I read up on it! More power to him! The car with the stripes belongs to a guy who had the decals custom made for him by Mind Over Motorsports. That scheme to my knowledge was originally made to fit a 911 GT3-R but the owner changed his mind about the scheme, so it ended up on that car...

I know a few of those guys... the Red White and Blue Mobil 1 paint schemed car is David Marglugio (not sure of the spelling on the last name, but its close) The second car from the left belongs to Jeff Grow... and finally i know Tims black and white Zebra inspired beast of a 924S... I wanted to head on up to watch, but oh well... next time...

PS: KJP he tows it with a silver Toureg and yes the license plate is something like "Spec944" or something like that....

Some other guy owns the GT3R and i think David just bought the graphics off of him... At least thats what i think happened...
