Matt, I might have a set of used ones I can send you. I'll have a look.

That would be slick! Your "parts" should be there today or tomorrow at the latest. They were sent global priority last week so any day now and you will have new toys to play with.

I have one and the connecting end is missing. Can't imagine it's in any better shape than yours.

Sorry about that Matt. Guess I should have kept my trap shut until I checked.

No worries, I really need to buy a new one but it sure would be nice to have one to work with now and replace it later.

after the fire i'm about to break down and buy the motronic harness and sensors but with the present wiring i can get it to run on two cylinders but when i break the black wire from the speed sensor (ithink) to the ground (in the shrouding) it runs up to about 3000rpm fine and then cuts out ; so is this sound characteristic of bad sensors or bad DME unit
And the tips of the sensors look horrible maybe hitting ??
Computer ?
Harness?
Sensors?

You could also go to the junkyard and get some of any of the mid 80s BMW 5 series as they use the same sensor, only the connecting wire is longer.

I suppose you could, I went and took one from one of my buddies that wrenched at a shop, 20 bucks in his pocket for what appears to be a nearly new sensor
