Shabby interior.

It's black leather front seats w/ greyish/tanish/pukish tweed in back. Light tan carpet, with orange stains on the passenger side (that I can't remove)from years of the P.O. living with a hole in the battery box.

I can't quite tell from the pic - is yours tan leather?

It sounds like you should order the Rennbay upholstery kit and we can have an upolstery party at Pete's house when he does his car as well.............

Nope. I've got an interesting interior in mine. I don't have any pics right now, unfortunately. I'll have to try and take a few soon. The interior is chocolate brown. It's got brown leatherette seats with tan tweed inserts. The back seats are the tweed color too. I didn't like it at first, but it's really grown on me. It's quite a bit more interesting than most of the interiors that I've seen.
I have to replace two of the panels on the front tweed, as they've torn. I'm going to get all of it replaced at the same time though. There's a shop near my house that'll replace all of the tweed sections for about $400ish.

I like that idea. Although, a cheaper option would be to strip it down to the metal...

hehehe...
I need to have a painting party more than an upholstery party.

Anyone around cincy own a spray booth? ; )

I've got two of the four Audis and the Porsche to paint. Oh, and an engine swap to do on one of the 4000's. More boost here I come.

hahahhhhah! The RS/CLUBSPRT bare interior is the way to go it's light and gives the car a very racey yet clean look to it.
plus you can hear the car singing much better when up in therevvs!!!
I say strip it out.!!

Hey SEAN MCMANUS! Just noticed your location!

Congrats on your move to Dayton! Awesome! We need to throw a big party for you! Then maybe you can convince Dale to follow you in your ways of "lightness".

Yes.. Work has brought me here to the Great place you call USA.. it's not so bad.. pretty cool place.
The beer sucks.. but there seem to be a few good porsche guys... Dayton seems to be a cool place. Ohio is OK.. in this Irsihmans opinion..
Yeah we should all meet up for some good BS sessions..
and debate the topis of which is better.. the 911 or the 944 and ALL of it's varients.

Not too much convincing is needed. I've been entertaining the thought since before I fixed the battery tray. Now that it's not a daily driver anymore, the possibly is even greater.
